You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can’t carry out air-to-surface missile strikes against suspected Venezuelan narcoterrorists without due process and expect to avoid the risk of a broader military conflict that endangers americans

Due process? Valid military targets don’t need a trial. Do we have to arrest every enemy soldier in a war to?

Also 75,000-100,000 Americans die to trafficked drugs per annum. So pick your preferred culling of the American people (the war would likely come with far less deaths given 2 carrier strike groups could erase the nation of Venezuela in ~2 weeks or less)

Would could certainly argue. Drug trafficking and mass death of USA citizens definitely constitute war against the USA However does it matter? The USA military can kill any direct threat to the country that they identify with their intelligence. If someone was trafficking, say, bombs to the USA, does the military have to “arrest” them first? It’s hotter nonsense and you know it. Furthermore “due” process isn’t the same in all circumstances, it is merely the process you are due

For a foreign drug trafficker due process is death
