Because that’s not why he cut Epstein off. He just recently came out and said he cut him off for “poaching employees” because he realized by blaming it on Epstein “being a creep” implies he knew what he was up to

Because Acosta was directed by some unnamed and unknown “higher ups” to not fully prosecute the case for reasons he allegedly wasn’t allowed to know
