I think it’s funny because I think I’m a pretty clockable alt girl (or gay), and I respect shooting your shot, but hello? I think it’s weird that there’s conservative men who go for alt women despite not understanding or respecting them or their values, but rather sexualize the appearance or the challenge. Dodged 100%

On a tangent I think conservative men who go after liberal/left/alt women don’t see it as an attraction to some of the conversation or understanding or whatever (which I think can be really appealing and impactful for any kind of relationship) but rather as another form of challenge and a way to more easily get their point across. I wouldn’t say I make my politics my personality, but I also don’t know how much enriching convo I could have with someone who believes RFK is worth a follow 🙂‍↕️

Also this guy is kinda country kinda punk and I struggle to see the dis/connect with those communities and right-wing stuff; to me, both of those groups have always been a micro-community built on unity and respect for one another, not about trying to be the best or be alone… I find it interesting that we see a lot of that in general, but I know why we do

Well, to your last point about enriching conversation, you never know til you try. I’m not suggesting you date a person you don’t agree with, that’s your prerogative and I don’t blame you. I’m just suggesting it’s impossible to know whether or not someone can be worthy of an enriching conversation without actually having a conversation to begin with. Once again, I’m not endorsing dating a man you are pretty sure might be pursuing you for clout or challenge, and I don’t fw RFK.
