Based on the rhetoric coming from right wingers I genuinely think our community is in danger of a groyper terrorist attack of some sort but literally no one takes us seriously at all. Ireland had 14 racially motivated violent assaults of Indians in ONE MONTH in a hate crime spree and that’s what it took to get the issue recognized there.

The worst part is that it still won’t change. racism against south asians has taken lives even before 9/11 but much more after, and the systemic racism in the greencard -> citizenship process is still unnecessarily hindering the naturalization of people who came here and did everything right
