Leftists: this guy got shot after saying it’s okay for people to be murdered if it means we have the second amendment. Isn’t that ironic Right wingers: we literally want to kill trans people Centrists: wow these two things are the same

I seem to remember Republican congressmen saying they were ready to eliminate trans people until the shooter was revealed to be a white guy

Not really. The voter base of the Democratic Party is far more left-leaning than the party itself.

Me either, and I’ve also seen the vast majority of the democratic voter base say they were happy he was shot, which is not in line with the “quote” that they gave for democrats

Saying that they are not sad that Charlie Kirk has died is not saying they are happy that he was shot. That would be a mischaracterization.

If you really did see a few people expressing genuine happiness that Charlie Kirk died and you’re not just being a moron, I highly doubt that it was "the vast majority of the democratic voter base." You likely extrapolated the comments of a few shameless individuals to all less extreme comments that didn’t provide unqualified support for Charlie Kirk in the aftermath of his death, and that’s if I’m being charitable. It’s why no one takes these accusations based on anecdotal evidence seriously.

I’ve seen plenty of social media posts celebrating Charlie’s death that have hundreds of thousands of likes

Quite literally the first post I come across of Charlie after going on insta to try to prove my point, “rest in hell I am so happy” with 3995 likes.

3995 likes isn’t a lot by any means, which isn’t particularly surprising since that is Charlie’s page and anyone who isn’t an alt-right conservative would likely have to go actively searching for it. I am absolutely sympathetic to some of those comments, but sure, now demonstrate that it was the "vast majority of the democratic voter base."
