The Iran nuclear deal was legitimately one of the few things I actually have to give massive props to Obama for. It made both sides happy, the deal actually treated Iran like adults - which is something the US has historically not done a lot, and there was plenty of oversight The one party that didn’t like the deal at all was Israel. And because of that, the moment Trump got into office, the deal was toast

(not trying to insinuate that Obama was some strong antizionist, because he’s not. But he was the last president to be at least somewhat willing to tell Israel that they needed to cool it down at least a little)
