the full term for what we live in is "federal constitutional representative democracy", which can be shortened to "federal democratic republic" because that covers both the democratic and constitutional rule elements. it is not a pure republic and no such thing has ever existed. hope this helps

We vote we through a democratic system. We arent a free market society is what you mean to say.

Indirect democracy. or Representative Democracy. interchangeably still a democracy. We vote senate and HR. They make or over turn laws based on what voters decide. If you’re talking about solely the president. Then no. But the president doesn’t really matter unless your trump and want to do everything like a monarch. We vote directly for senate, house, mayors, ect.
