Normally when people post in memory of someone famous they speak of their achievements and the wonderful things they’ve done for humanity. All we’re getting here is “he was a father and a husband, and didn’t deserve to die this way”. Which, yeah, I feel bad for his wife and kids. And nobody deserves to die this way. But like, is that it? He didn’t do anything important enough to mention?

Not everyone gets shot on camera in front of their children and it be spread across the internet. That’s the difference.

I only feel a bit bad for his children, and only because they didn’t get to choose who their father was. So yeah, this sucks for them. But also, his wife knew exactly who she was marrying. So I don’t feel bad for her.

The reason I feel bad for all of them is because they probably saw their family member getting shot live in probably the most gruesome way we’ve caught on camera in a while. That kind of lasting impact is nothing to scoff at
