No no republicans have also made up a certain rich guy type who apparently lived in new york all these years but will now pack up his bags and go to south florida when Mamdani puts the tax into effect

the irony is that 2% is insignificant for people making enough for it to apply. if you’re making over a million a year, $20,000 or so is not a meaningful amount of money in your life, it’s a fraction of your kids’ private school tuition or it’s your watch.
