Not really. I’ve made $50K off my Tesla shares and $100K+ across the broader market. Well not “made, made” because they’re all unrealized capital gains, but hopefully you get the point

#1 has a good point. Everyone should invest; even if just $20 a week. Everything counts and it’s never too early to start.

I dunno, man, perhaps if someone says they’re struggling to support themselves this is kind of a stupid thing to say yeah you could invest that $20 or you could buy like. food. gas. pay off a bill.

My parents started an investment account for me when I was 4 and gave me control over it when I turned 16. I invest 20% of my paycheck every two weeks and put another 20% into savings. It’s not like I’m not investing. I can still barely afford rent, tuition payments, food, and gas to get to and from my jobs. I love when leaders of the country can drive up prices by starting frivolous wars and then we’re told it’s our fault for not being able to afford things
