It's a massive societal level problem. We all wanted to pretend that the costs of carbon emissions from fossil fuels didn't exist. We needed a modest carbon tax like 30 years ago.

This kind of calculation comes from assigning the carbon emissions from X, Starlink, or Tesla as companies to Elon Musk instead of to the people who consume these products. I’m not sure that’s the most accurate way to do it. If I watch two hours of YouTube, I think I’m responsible for the emissions, not Sergey.

Yet they keep trying to feed us seed oil meat because real meat isn't eco-friendly. They tell us to take a 2-minute shower. Sorry, stop flying private first please!

A carbon tax is definitely the most logical, straightforward way to solve the problem. Unfortunately it requires convincing the general public to vote for higher gas prices, which is quite the uphill battle.

Animal agriculture is a huge detriment to earth's climate, and two things can be fixed at once. PS. Seed oils aren't unhealthy

Then let's find other ways to cut pollution without removing essential nutrients from our diets? Seed oils aren't inherently unhealthy but they do not provide the vitamins and minerals for us that meat does.

Buddy do you really want me to go down the rabbit hole of educating you on how meat is not essential and actually lacking in many nutrients

Not entirely, much of it comes from private jet flights, large scale yachts, properties, and consumption
