Hey all, with books being banned, history being rewritten/erased, and rights being stripped, I’ve got a couple tools to fight it in this thread! Feel free to add your own and make helpful tools more widely available.1. Library Genesis (LibGen): It helped a whole lot with… “borrowing” required texts for my econ/finance classes. I only paid for 3 textbooks/course packs during my 4 years, and those were only because of online homework. You can find most books there including banned books and academic texts! Just make sure you’re using an ad and popup blocker :)
3. Archive (.ph, .is, and .today domains are all good!): Users upload web pages to be archived. It’s run by a mysterious man from Russia but is free to use and ad-free. You can bypass many built-in paywalls such as WSJ articles using it but it also serves the same purpose as the Wayback Machine!
