I mean. I agree with being conservative with your finances in general as stuff gets more expensive and possible job losses But the mainland US being attacked seems like paranoia. I mean it’s always possible like 9/11 but

You couldn’t be more wrong… please be prepared for extended power outages and supply chain disruptions. A prepared population is important to keep us all safe.

I don’t think it’s likely, but the chances are not zero. There are also things like natural disasters, cyberattacks, and government overreach that are not uncommon. A town new where I live had to use cash because internet went on and off for weeks a few months after Helene. In 2022, the Canadian government froze hundreds of bank accounts tied to a trucker protest. There are many other examples, but dont have your money in one place.
