Ok because I would actually want to pay more taxes if it meant more people got taken care of. That sounds great. Hell I’d pay 50% of my income in taxes easily if it meant one kid wouldn’t go hungry,
Or you could just donate directly to the people and places you want to help. Giving the government more money doesn’t automatically mean they’re using that money to help kids, or even anyone in the U.S. they’re doing with it what they want

“I would happily give up half my paycheck IF if meant more people would be taken care of.” Is what I said. This year I’ve donated 10k to different causes, which is 20k after my employer matches it, which isn’t 50% but is what I’m able to give right now.

Ya im just saying since thats not necessarily how it’s going w the government it might be smarter to just donate directly since you’ll know where your money is going. as opposed to higher taxes in the name of Zambia
