If you had asked people in 1775 if they think it could become a democracy in this day and age, many said no. Also, whether or not you think its true, Jesus clearly believed He had divine authority. That kind of thing tends to make you confident change can happen.

Because if Jesus came back today He would still believe himself divine. I understand that the post was bait to push a narrative. But Jesus doesnt fit into that.
