Is there supposed to be some kind of wrongdoing implied here

Up until this, I thought the efforts to make this a big deal was silly and pointless. The Democracy party has once again attempted to do the most bad faith thing possible to sabotage the perception our elections are fair and worth engaging in.

I don’t get it. Are they not allowed to have many people run to divert votes from the opposition

Yep, I think people on both sides should see this for what it is

Like republicans are so stupid for crying wolf about every election they throw away by promoting wacko candidates Only for democrats to pull stuff like this every once and a while that’s so deeply poisonous to the country. They will act like this is no big deal and then when republicans respond by trying to do it in every race I will have to hear endlessly about how democracy is under attack

Why do you people have no morals Most of the country can barely read and write how do you expect people to understand who they are voting for if you do this crap. It’s obviously bad faith and an effort to win by any means necessary instead of convincing people you are the best candidate. Take the extreme. What if republicans respond by piling every nationwide race with identically named candidates. Because they will use whatever is used against them 100x over.

They’re obviously allowed to considering he’s on the ballot but it’s shady at worst and just plain ridiculous at best

spoilers and just multiple candidates in general have existed since the dawn of time, but because trump's terrified of losing his dictatorship he can make up rigging allegations even though it was already determined that he was running in good faith after he was taken off the ballot once

Oh you’re saying they’re promoting people with the exact name? Yea that’s underhanded. But the high road has been forfeit long ago so this is the new normal

Republicans are not smart enough to try new ideas. They copy what democrats successfully use against them at scale. Anything you’re referring to was done by people who want change at any cost. Think election fraud, judicial nominees, racial congressional districts, etc. It was all done by democrats first who received no negative blowback, and then when republicans go scorched earth and do it everywhere, it’s suddenly seen as unacceptable.

Assuming the reporting is correct, it’s the definition of bad faith. If one district court ruling is all it takes to change your morals, I have a lot of things you should support

Republicans normalized messing with elections. I think the dems are just now acting like republicans
