Yeah i believe in rule of law. Unlike Kirk and the republicans, who praised January 6 domestic terrorists, the execution of black citizens by police, and assassination attempts on democratic officials. I am against gun violence, I don’t think Kirk should have died. He did not feel the same.

Yes, I do. That does not mean I need to mourn him though. He spent his life dismissing gun violence against children, supporting violence against minorities and his political opponents, and in his last moments of life he was blaming gun violence on trans and black people. The manner of one’s death does not excuse the evil done in life.

Personally I haven’t joked about his death because I don’t find gun violence funny, but isn’t it so hypocritical that conservatives expect sympathy when someone on “their” side gets shot yet will endlessly make fun of the Pelosis, Hortmans, etc.? Even ridiculing Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were civilians that died by ICE?

I believe that the dichotomy between the right making fun of Floyd vs the left making fun of Kirk is very illustrative. Floyd was a random person. They found the murder of a black person by police funny, because he was a black person. People make fun of Charlie Kirk because of the shitty things he did in life, and because conservatives suddenly pretended to care about reverence for the dead.

this *wouldve* been my response to him, but he’s a disingenuous propagandist: since when did you think you had any grounding to require others to condemn political violence, whilst explicitly approving of political violence (and refusing to recognize it) when it’s in your favor? i’m not willing to play these hypocritical games of civility with people who actively support rapists, pedophiles, white supremacists, christian nationalists, you name it. the hypocrisy is laughable.

Well I’m glad you agree, the ICE agents who killed Renee and Alex deserve prison time. But just so you know, the entire GOP has been pushing for stochastic terrorism and protecting ICE agents from prosecution. Forgot to mention but the agents who killed Keith Porter, Luis Salgado, Juan etc. and responsible for all the homicides in detention as well. Fucking bottom of the barrel scum. And they’re abusing detainees as well, if you’ve seen any of the reports coming out of East Montana, Delaney etc.
