Right wing dudes will come within nanometers of class consciousness and then somehow end up just blaming Jews.

Antisemitism is the socialism of fools (and that absolutely extends to other bigotry, right now especially nativism/ anti-immigrant sentiment)

In fairness, the left has also abandoned class consciousness to focus on race, gender, and the Jews.

I agree but not for the reason you think. Still that doesn’t mean they have class consciousness.

Everyone in the USA knows what class and has an estimation of what class they are in. Whatever source convinced you that this isn’t the case is likely manipulating you. People aren’t that dumb.

No, not really. Do you work for a living or own things for a living?

I work for a living. Me nor my family own anything of value other than our cars and town home, which we live in. I pay rent. But even Mark Zuckerberg works. The people that own YikYak work. Even investors do research and risk losing money if they don’t put the effort in. Without hard work you will lose what you own to competition or stupidity.

Bruh under your definition there is only the working class, which just is not correct. Workers exchange their labor for a wage. Capitalists appropriate the surplus value produced by the worker’s labor. That’s the distinction.

Not only are you wrong, but even the leftists that aren’t Democrats because they’re left of the democrats do exactly what I just said at least as much

1, what do you consider “the left”? 2, how is “the left” focusing on Jews to the exclusion of class?

I think you may have been confused by my point. There is a common misconception that the richest people don’t work hard. I’m simply pointing it out. I believe class isn’t one thing or split between a set amount. I think class is a scale. With homeless indebted people at the bottom and richest people at the top.

I’m not sure if this is what you mean but I do think that Dems especially since Clinton have shifted from class to identity politics as their policies moved towards neoliberalism. I think identity politics is important but it can’t just be about identity politics bc then you’re just saying “i know my policies won’t help you but im just like you so you can trust me”
