I have nothing against nurse practitioners however if I paid the insurance copay for an MD and see an np who had to leave the room to google what treatment to give me as they tried to prescribe the opposite of what would help I fear this is a problem

Mid level creep is an actual problem in medicine, you’re not wrong. I work with an NP whom I literally watched take a pic of an EKG and put it into ChatGPT
