One example: He’s destroying the system of checks and balances by unilaterally defunding programs and projects he dislikes and giving the money to things he approves of. Congress alone holds the power of the purse.

Exactly, why is US politics the place to express their upset over it? I’m trying to debate policy candidates but that hardly ever pops up in my feed, only the same trump hate over and over and over again. Do you know of a different politics group that is more inline with what I’m looking for?

I personally support more local and state level grassroots campaigns in nyc and talk about more specific issues than just politicians, but you gotta hop off of yikyak and actually go outside to do that

Yak is a unique platform for me to reach out on a national level to people my age (mostly), I’d like to actually discuss and debate people from different places with different perspectives and the one thing most people believe is that trump sucks. It’s not a debate, it’s just the truth.
