As an Ohio native who moved to Kentucky, you got those two flipped for sure. Only redeeming qualities in Ohio are the lake and some of the cities

Sounds benign enough from my buddy who’s living in Arlington. Closer to larger airports. Not a great COL but not an awful one for someone who wants to be a mechanic (me)

I’m from southeast Virginia and it’s chill. Good balance of lots of things to do while still having plenty of nature. Northern Virginia is a bit too suburban sprawl and pricey imo. The rest of Virginia is significantly more affordable.
