Its a understandable position from cognitive dissonance. They do not know the position of Al Qaeda and their attempt at the destruction of world capitalism, so they think there cannot be a ideology with no reason to do something violent. Thus, they blame others who may have gotten benefit from it. Personally, its a more rational a priori position than they just did it because theyre evil.
