Why am I getting so much hate for joining the military? growing up I was always praised for attempting to protect the people around me but it seems no matter how pure my intentions are (I am going to be a research scientist) i have been called a murder 💀

The US military has been mass killing civilians for a while now. Yemen, Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, etc come to mind
