Holding the bad men accountable and calling out their BS would be a good start. Explaining why their jokes and rhetoric might be harmful to women, why their actions are flawed and encouraging empathy are all important. A lot of men don’t want to listen to women and shrug them off, but this isn’t true for their male counterparts 🤷🏽♀️
That’s for sure. I’m curious what lessons you feel are being taught to daughters that sons are largely missing? From my own personal experience, I feel the stereotype is actually dads being unwilling to discipline their daughters, but maybe that’s wrong or maybe it’s something mothers more often do?
