Also, the death penalty has not been shown to deter crime. Nor is is 100% objective and consistent. It also disproportionately affects veterans. I’m not going to defend chomos. Utilizing the death penalty, however, has consistently demonstrated that it is not an effective, economically efficient, and restorative practice. You know what is? Rehabilitation and support for victims, which has been studied and proven over, and over, and over again.
