I’m missing my right arm and leg and the amputations never healed properly so if I wanted to wear prosthetics I would need 3-4 corrective surgeries that are not covered under my insurance so I have to use a wheelchair that has the one hand control for both. No entry level job will hire me because I cannot stand and lift a 50 pound box over my head and every desk position I’m finding requires previous experience. I have type one diabetes and can’t afford insulin with those kinds of jobs either.

Right now I’m in school to get a finance degree so I don’t have to live on these systems for life and will happily pay into these programs for other people who do need them.
