Dawg when he dies we might actually be outta the woods. Trump does not have a literal or spiritual successor, and once he’s gone c American conservatism is going to have a fucking identify crisis. They’re going to splinter into two or three major parties with varying mixes of populist policies like ones Mamdani and AOC have ran on along with radical cultural conservatism. Shits gonna get so weird in the next ten years.

MAGAS strat up to this point has been to push fascistic rhetoric and policy further and further and further to the point that when they next get backed into a corner around election season, I think they’re gonna go full mask off with it. Whether that works out for them or not or if they can find a new posterboy after Trump has yet to be seen but I think it’s gonna end at its most volatile
