This isn’t about stopping immigration it’s about preserving the proper means of immigration. People who take the time to learn about the country and go through all the proper steps shouldn’t be stepped over just bc someone feels they are entitled to an express lane into the country. It’s not about anti-immigration it’s about wanting to know who is living in this country and being able to identify them.

Proper means of immigration are important, but the administration in power is intentionally neglected the faculties that allow for these proper channels to function, either by cutting funding or arbitrarily making it more difficult to get a visa/citizenship for no reason beyond hatred and cruelty. And to love this country and learn about it, the country needs to be worth loving and learning about. If we are hostile at anyone or anything other, we will miss out of the benefits of immigration+
