Says you. The point is to negotiate and come to an agreement that both sides can be happy with. Instead, the GOP is refusing negotiations and willingly deciding to let the shutdown happen with the hopes the left will cave and agree to every demand. Democrats are the opposition party, it’s literally in the name.
