The job of the Speaker of the House is not PR for the Democratic Party, it’s to wrangle votes and help set policy objectives. If you take what he says here, given that this election was largely about affordability, and think that’s the only thing the democrats will do you are not paying attention, multiple people have come out, including Garcia, Wyden, talking about how they will go after republicans in televised hearings and subpoenas

This is why Republicans aren’t crashing out. We shifted the country too much in the correct direction the Democrats can’t undo it.

The first instincts after wiping out your opponents and winning a 50 seat majority isn’t BIPARTISANSHIP

Do you think republicans would be talking about bipartisanship if they won a historic majority? NOOOOO!!! That’s why they get their agenda accomplished!

Jeffries has some of the worst political instincts if he’s leader he won’t be in office either after 2028

Jeffries and Schumer win, and democrats will win in 2028.

Why would you expect them to do that right after an election on affordablility, when voter switching sides was a main reason we won? If the house and senate passes clear affordability bills and Trump vetos them, it’s good for the democrats and if he doesn’t it shows that they can deliver and actually help Americans

Your ad hominems are very cool . Doesn’t change that Jeffries is the leader of the house democrats and knows a lot more about passing legislation/public support than you, and is likely to try for bipartisanship so Trump will actually sign some bills into law
