In terms of their effectiveness, they are much better at their jobs than Hamas. Hamas attacks because they have a calling from Allah to steal kill and destroy. The IDF attacks threats to destroy threats to the nation of Israel.

If they were terrorist, they are terrible at their jobs. Dropping leaflets on drop zones and having boots on the ground when they could just bomb locals is the worst approach if you don’t care about civilians.
