They can be quite important, especially with stuff like Roe v Wade and ICE cooperation being moved down to the state level. Also data centers/Flock cooperation.

That too. I have been supporting way more Dem candidates as of late. The only exceptions are with good incumbents and when the Dem candidate is horrible lol (or if the Republican is anti-Trump).

ya I believe I commented this on one of ur posts before, but while I’d prefer all states to have a Dem gov, the likes of Scott and Lombardo wouldn’t make me too mad

And as for current governors, I really love Mark Gordon and Brian Kemp. Can’t think of any others off the top of my head but there may be one or two more. Ayotte is solid Lombardo is solid. Dewine is solid. I loved Charlie Baker and Larry Hogan. I liked Glenn Youngkin a lot too.

Well I think you have to live in GA to understand why Kemp is so popular here. He has completely transformed the Georgia economy. I guess idk much about Ayotte but I feel like she fits New Hampshire will. Youngkin had his issues but holy hell was he better than Spanberger is lmao.

Yes, also he practically stopped Trump from stealing the 2020 election and has had a very strong cabinet for his 8 years (Raffensberger, Duncan, etc). It’s so funny because he kinda created the blueprint for how anti-Trump Republicans can win red state primaries—just pretend you like him until you get the nomination and then flip on him right after haha. Overall, amazing 8 years and I am heartbroken that we are losing him.
