It’s not purely Iranian it’s also Iraqi kuwaiti emirati qatari and Saudi oil

Yeah that’s why I corrected myself since Iran doesn’t technically produce oil, they just have de facto control over the straight

No they do produce a lot of oil tho. It’s just literally any supply shock is going to have major implications on the price of oil
