Here’s what I think has a very good chance of happening: 1. Trump will continue to make a fool of himself and lose even more of his base (Epstein, H1B, and a few other things have lost him a lot of followers) 2. Vance will run in 2028 with the full backing of Thiel, Musk, and the rest of the PayPal mafia 3. His platform will be optically anti-Trump/“real” MAGA but, in practice, the same shit 4. Republicans will eat it up and potentially get him elected

I’m on the fence. Vance seems to be getting groomed for the role, but he doesn’t have the charisma Trump has. I think Trump may control it from afar, but once he passes who knows. And even his endorsements don’t hold much weight in elections when he’s not on the ballot. The MAGA base doesn’t turn out in off-cycle elections

Tbh before it felt like MAGA was just a Trump club but now ateumps being attacked from the right So it looks like whatever movement MAGA spawned exists independent of Trump now
