The most likely cause is through a wet market, where they sell wild animals, and seafood. The vector was probably through a bat to a wild animal and then through a trader or vendor at the market. The market was not a sanitary place and you can see pictures of wild animals in cages, right next to stalls selling raw meat. Also China blames the US for covid lol

Im not convinced, those markets have been around for centuries all across the region. But what isnt everywhere is a lab specifically dedicated to researching that specific kind of disease that specifically started where that lab is.

It didn’t start where the lab is, all of the first cases were in the wet market. It was a 30 min drive between the Wuhan institute of virology and the wet market. Also not all wet markets had wild animals for sale, and those that do have previously been linked to pandemics starting, such as SARS
