Excuse u… my bf and I did everything 50/50 on Valentine’s Day. Split the meals, got each other a price point for gifts.. Valentine’s Day isn’t about gender roles just showing ur love. If a woman upset a man isn’t showing her “love” on Valentine’s Day.. it actually has nothing to do with gender roles and just not feeling appreciated.

Bc 9/10 times.. the woman did something for the man on Valentine’s Day but the man did absolutely nothing for her… so it’s not about gender roles it’s just about feeling appreciated and loved by their partner
