There’s an entire Trump store right on the strip. They roll out a statue of him every morning and let people pose for pictures with it. You’ve never seen more rusty flatbed trucks and toothless mouths in one place. Except maybe at the Alabama-Auburn game.

If you want an Excellent burger without having to actually go into town, go to Danna’s BBQ. They’re redneck af, but at least they aren’t in town. And they’re in between Hollister and Branson.

This is the exact rental we use when we go. 3 floors, hot tub, game room, elevator, warmed indoor private pool, multiple grills. But no direct access. There are several options around there with direct lake access, though. This one just overlooks the lake and has complimentary gold carts to use for access.

Dollywood traffic is a little down ever since she said she thinks gay people should be allowed to be happy. They’ve had local churches protesting it ever since. But yeah, that area is nothing but a cesspool of backwoods lunacy and a Klan spawning ground.
