I spent a lot of time in recent years talking to maga voters, both centrists and all the way right folks, I think cheese is kinda right honestly. Many are so focused on the whole owning the libs vibe that they don’t realize the damage he’s actually doing. They’re so politically bored that they really don’t care if something terrible happens, as long as confirmation bias rolls in and Dems are mad. It’s more of a game or spectacle to them than anything else tbh

This isn’t to say there aren’t actual conservatives that have genuine belief in right leaning policy, but as far as I can tell the right is currently a mix of the unserious, the ignorant, or just the genuinely cruel. This is true, but the Nazis and Soviets did it on a scale that far surpassed almost, if not everything seen before and since. Which is recurring theme with both of those powers.
