As though the legal architectonics, intentionality, and cultural context of enacting deportation policies is the same as being born or drinking water. People are clowning on you because it’s a necessary/sufficient argument. Deportations may be a necessary step of facist government, but not a sufficient one. That includes broader points like consolidation of power and ultranationalism, both of which are at least partially present in the Trump admin

If you really want to get specific the holocaust started, both in Germany and Russia/Ukraines Holodomor (Had family in both put in camps of both, hand written accounts are sitting two rooms from me at the moment) with groups of teenagers to young adults, enforcing propaganda and harassing citizens door to door. Both let criminals free to lead the mobs. Underworld economies birthed both (different phases)

Deportations came later after the harassment. Many families fled before they were formally arrested. Actually it wouldn’t even be a deportation because they had JUST gotten to the point they owned their own farm when it was taken. Our family had been there for hundreds of years. So more like, sent/chased into exile.
