A single data center uses 1-5 million gallons per day. Googles self reported Council Bluffs, Iowa data center used 1 billion gallons of water in 2024 on its own. Current estimates are AI on its own will use 4.2-6.6 billion gallons by 2027

The problem is we don’t have a concrete timeline, just like no one excepted the .com bubble to burst or the debt bubble to pop in 2008, it’s going to happen one day and everyone is going to suffer

But the signs of it popping have already begun to show, major players have scaled down orders, major investors are beginning to advise against investing in openAI and NVIDIA, I got a call from my financial advisor recommending I avoid investing any further into those companies. The signs are starting to crop up
