im big into movies and video games, so it just appears on my timelines on any social media platform really. chicken shop date is racist. materialists (the movie) is broke boy propaganda. tlou is pro-israel (somehow it’s about the war??). assassins creed is cultural appropriation. eddington didn’t speak enough about blm so it’s automatically bad. i just engage with posts about that stuff, so ofc the negative also appears

oh ya I recognize it’s online, but i also do feel like these people are speaking what others are sometimes afraid to say especially with how many likes/comments they get go into the letterboxd reviews of warfare and so many people are saying it’s propaganda yea it’s in my little bubble, but it’s a lot which is enough for me to be like “gdamn plz stop with this”
