Seeing people I really like get a little too religious and try to turn every conversation into a Jesus thing and try to convert me constantly is so tedious but I think it’s a Southern canon eventI mean, I understand it on some level, the Church grants a lot of people a sense of community, a place to do community service/charity work, and that makes them feel good. The same way volunteering in a secular setting to feed the hungry makes me feel good. That’s why I’m fine with religious people, but don’t try to convert me, whose beliefs you know and have always respected, every time we talk. That shit gets tiresome.
