Extremely. Government was my biggest employer and well…even with the hiring freeze lifted, I’m not touching that with a ten foot pole with how much turmoil there is. Not to mention how many qualified and highly experienced people there are now in the market due to the layoffs from the government.
contemplating going to get an associates in whatever i need to just work at a nursing home like not full on nurse, but the basics. Got a job right out of school with business degree working in admin at a construction company. Incredibly lucky to get this job, I do not deserve to be treated this good as a 22 year old. I think the key to getting a job is literally apply to no less than 10 places per day (might mean expanding your horizons past job titles that are exactly what you want) and expect to get hits back maybe 5% of the time.
