I get what you’re saying, but I think she was referring to the Democrats’ political strategy. This “woke” culture bullshit nonsense got blown up and affected their elections because they didn’t reroute focus to more fundamental issues like healthcare, economy, etc. Minority protections are incredibly important, but giving your opponents fodder for nasty campaign ads isn’t smart.
