I know this sounds like common sense but I’ve just been surprised by some people who I trusted for a long time who sold me out to get a few hundred bucks extra a month.

Maybe a random college kid on the internet may not give you hope, but I do. I want to get into politics to make a difference. It’s my goal to become a congressman for New York, to show people that people like me really do care. And I’m gonna try my hardest to get there one day.

Political corruption is fucking stupid even from a selfish angle. I mean really… the corrupt politicians barely get any money compared to those who effectively bribe them. They just do it because they like having their name on a plaque rather than actually doing their fucking job

It’s becoming evident they didn’t. Someone once told me that if you want to be a leader of something just show up at a political party event. If you’re there consistently for a week. You’ll be running the show by the end of the month.
