you do know iran hasn't even technically agreed to what he proposed so they can deny and ceasefire isn't a thing, right? he didn't negotiate shit. we just all assume they will take that deal and save thousands of lives (which is smart), but they very well could say no

I think it would've happened bc Iran had their 10 points and opening the strait was something they said they would do. Trump acknowledged that in his tweet. He probably tweeted before consulting with literally anyone and once he met with people he got talked into it

How so? Trump’s own tweet today says he’s going along with the 10 points Iran has been demanding for weeks. Zero negotiation, he’s apparently caved to their demands (but will reverse course tomorrow for more insider trading money)
