He sure did have tons of opinions but there’s something really beautiful about that. And yes it’s beyond annoying. Not quite sure what the motive is behind the left spreading hundreds of cherry-picked clips… genuinely cannot wrap my mind around it or come to any other conclusion besides them wanting any and every conservative to look racist, homophobic, etc. because if they don’t, their entire narrative will crumble lol
I don’t think it’s end game either like in terms of the Democratic Party, if that’s what you’re suggesting. Dems have lots of policies that I respect and would seriously consider voting for. When I say narrative I’m talking about the leftists like the ones on this app- delusional extremists who intentionally avoid the truth at all costs. Could literally shove a million posts just like this TikTok infront of their face and they would still instantly spit out some kind of distortion
He said that in response to Shirley Jackson Lee saying “i rise today as a clear recipient of affirmative action, particularly in higher education. I may have been admitted on affirmative action, both in terms of being a woman and a woman of color…..” just completely saying she didn’t get in on merit but by skin color and sex alone and discrediting her own damn self. Kirk was calling out four specific women by name for similar comments, not black women as a whole
Do you know what affirmative action is? Yes, she was hired because we progressed as a country to allow equal opportunity to women and POC. AKA we previously denied perfectly qualified people on the basis of their gender and race. You only think that's a problem if you have a core belief that those people are "less than" Charlie was suggesting that black women are incapable of being qualified. It's simply racist and echoes the simple-minded DEI comments I read every once in a while
Well yeah bc racist hiring managers refused to hire people simply because of their gender/race under the guise of "unqualified". We needed to progress as a country We didn't even become de-segregated until the 60s (lots of the America is still segregated) - to me it's easy to see why reform was necessary and why his comments were fundamentally racist
