My public school education basically taught us "then MLK Jr. showed up and he refused to use violence and as a result racism ended forever" which is just one of many examples of our education system basically just pushing propaganda

One of my history teachers actively vilified the black panthers as the bad guys He also had a little statue of Robert E. Lee on his desk and loved to talk about how great the Confederate military was I'm sure these things were unrelated 🙄
