Offering a service is not violence. Prices are directly impacted by supply. The solution to housing everyone is building enough housing in the right areas.

Blackrock does not purchase individual homes. You’re likely thinking of blackstone, which owns 0.06% of US single family homes. All large institutional investors combined own ~0.67% of single family homes.
