The bill included a series of exemptions from work requirements, including for half time and full time students. As long as you’re enrolled in at least 6 hours a semester you can still receive Medicaid.

There are several exemptions, including for disabled, newly unemployed, elderly, etc, but I only spoke on student exemptions because that’s what the commenter expressed concern over

Yeah buddy, that’s great. I’m sure my brother, who has his condition present differently than most, will be seen as disabled by the government when they already barely see him as such because he doesn’t quite match the definition they have of his disability. Fuck you and your willingness to let people die because of this bill

I literally never said that I support the bill, infact, I don’t support it. But I love that just because I’m trying to ease people’s fears and explain that THEY are safe from it is enough for you to think I support it. People have lost all rationality in politics, and you a prime example of it. I’m sorry to hear about your brothers situation, something needs to be done about that, but I’m not the enemy for helping people understand the new policies
